Being a business owner can be impossible during the depression. Since people ave been killing the banks by taking their money out, I have been nervous of my bank crashing. I keep everything in their including payroll and other very important financial things. Bank accounts of profits would all be gone if the bank were to crash. Sadly a week a go the bank did crash. When my banker called me I almost passed out. How could I afford to keep all my employees or even sty in business. It was hard work going through the financial records the next couple days seeing if I can even stay in business. Business was slowing down anyways due to the poverty level in the area. People couldn't afford our product anymore and we were lowering prices but then I can't support some of the employes and I have to let them go. Now after this, I might be the only employee.
After I did do all the finances I learned that we had a chance. I did have to let a lot f people go and lower prices by as much as fifty percent. Hopefully people would start buying our product a little more. Now Roosevelt entered office I am draning my pockets. He has so many orginizations that the taxes are starting to raise and thats not good at all. I could barley pay the mortgages and now what was I going to do. He set out to help the forgotten man. What about me ? I will now slowly sink into being into the same situation as every one else and i have so much more to lose then most people.

FDR hopefully will turn the business world. We need an act of banking insurance. If a bank collapses I need to know I won’t lose it all. Also I need to get money for my losses. My business might never be the same because of this and that’s if I make it out of this. Hopefully Roosevelt is as good as the last Roosevelt. Now Teddy was a business man.
